My story starts like many others born at the tail end of Generation X. Growing up in the ’80s allowed me to experience the limitations of the analog era while also witnessing the evolution of the current digital age. While I was enthralled by the increasingly fantastic array of gadgets that were becoming available, I was equally concerned about the ramifications that might accompany such technology.
Although I’ve been an early adopter of nearly ever piece of consumer electronics hardware that I could afford, I was always cautiously reluctant to join any social networks due to their potential for invasion of privacy. Up until now I’ve managed to live a life a relative anonymity in terms of personal information on the internet. Online, it’s was as if I didn’t even exist yet in real life, I had completed all the socially expected milestones of marriage, home ownership and employment.
Ideologically, I was raised Catholic by my altar boy father and Irish immigrant mother. It wasn’t long before I dismissed the hypocrisy of the church but I always remained curious about the universe and our place in it. Throughout school I excelled in the maths and sciences which gave me a seemingly firm understanding of the world around me. However, I noticed that religion wasn’t the only institution that was deceiving its adherents. The public education system also left a lot to be desired in terms of what it passed off as “history.” During my adult life, I strived to discern the true story about our human origins from the fragments being told to us by mainstream theologians and historians. About four years ago, everything started to make sense.
Unbelievable coincidences began unfolding before my eyes with increasing regularity. First, an unfamiliar phrase seen on a decorative sign found on the wall of a restaurant during dinner is then heard spoken on a television program later that evening. Next, a phone conversation with a coworker one morning about a certain brand of beer happens to appear on the T-shirt of a woman standing in line next to me at a food truck only minutes later. These are just two examples of what would become a series of situations that must have an intelligent force of some kind behind their arrangement. I became determined to understand what was causing these parallel experiences to occur and embarking on that journey would open up my mind to a world of possibilities that I had previously considered unimaginable.
Once I came to understand the significance of these synchronicities, it only motivated me to learn more about the mysteries of our lives. When I began to question the nature of our reality, I found the answer in the reality of our nature. It became obvious to me that our shared experience is a nothing more than a quantitative expression of how we behave as individuals. Therefore, the problems of society are largely caused by the collection of people’s personal physiological conditions. In order to effectively change the world for the better we each need to change the things about ourselves that contribute negatively to the problems of our reality.
After personally embodying this lifestyle I realized that the rest of society must also make the necessary changes if any of us are to see the world improve. That’s when I decided to launch the CULT-URE brand and various media platforms on the internet. Like George Orwell said, “in a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Not everybody is prepared to make these changes, mainly because they are not equipped with the tools and information needed to facilitate such efforts. Our culture lies to us at every turn which deprives most of humanity of their divine right to attain self realization. It is in the face of this seemingly insurmountable challenge that I decided to do my part in bringing about this change by becoming an urban shaman, dedicated to helping guide those misled by modern civilization back towards the true spiritual nature of our being, while still existing within this increasingly technological landscape.
Stay tuned for more information about personal solutions for empowerment and improvement that can lead to the healing of our planet as well as our species. Together, and only together, we can make the world a better place for ourselves and for the future generations that will be left to inherit it.
